Gamla and the Jewish Revolt against Rome

The archaeological site of Gamla in Israel was discovered in 1968.  Since then excavations have uncovered the ancient walled city that was built on a hump-like hill (Gamla means "camel"), which overlooks the Sea of Galilee. Dr. George Sparks shows us artifacts from that period, and explains how archaeologists have uncovered evidence of the fierce Roman attack that devastated the city and defeated the Jewish zealots.

I certainly enjoyed your lecture and all the new information of the times. It is hard for people of this age to realize that there was continuous war and subjugation in the Middle East. It does give us a better reference for the war and turmoil happening in Israel now.
