Rik Wadge interviews Dr. Mark Wilson, a Christian scholar who is currently the director of the Asia Minor Research Center in Antalya, Turkey. Mark shares fascinating information about the Christian saint, Nicholaus of Myra, who lived in what is today Turkey in the early Christian era from about 270-343 A.D. He is known to have performed many miracles through his intercessions and was a godly man. He lived during a time of great persecution against the Christians. Because he refused to worship the Roman emperor and offer sacrifices to pagan gods, he was imprisoned and then killed. He is the real Saint Nicholas that later became Santa Clause.
