David Palmer Smitherman lives in the mountains of northern New Mexico with his wife, and they attend a local Hebraic congregation. Palmer was raised in Alabama on a small farm, and loves birds. He is available for speaking and teaching engagements.
Current Activities: Palmer is the president and founder of Antioch’s Calling, a small ministry that supports construction of schools and churches in East Africa. He also manages a single family rental house. Most of his time is consumed by learning Hebrew, writing books, and attempting to discern the structure of ancient biblical Hebrew poetry with its associated deeper meaning and application for our times.
Education: High school valedictorian. B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, magna cum laude. M.S. and Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Licensed nuclear Professional Engineer in the state of New Mexico.
